Aged separately for 12 years in individual Oloroso and Pedro Ximnez soleras these wines are later blended and matured for an additional three years in a dedicated 33-cask solera. Inspired by the historic sherries once transported on voyages to the Indies Lustau East India Sherry offers remarkable smoothness and complexity. Deep mahogany in color it reveals layered notes of maple syrup brown sugar raisins chocolate-covered nuts and orange peel. Rich and velvety on the palate balanced acidity and subtle spice lead to a long unforgettable finish. Best served slightly chilled alongside desserts cakes or blue cheeses.
