Federico Paternina Reserva Rioja

In order to attain a Reserva designation in Rioja a wine has to spend a minimum of 36 months ageing (at least 12 of which must be in oak). Federico Paternina's Reserva Rioja spends an additional year in vats before going into barrel making for a very classic style of Rioja. Red plum and black cherry interspersed with leather cigar box and terracotta.
